Press share and the clip goes up to LensCap's own clip host, not a video site that stamps its logo on it. You get a link that plays right inside Discord, and the file on your PC stays at full quality.

Get LensCap
One download for everything: recording, the studio, streaming and sharing. It brings its own video tools and runtime, and keeps itself up to date.
The installer is small because it fetches LensCap as it installs, so it always installs the current version. Installing offline? Take the portable ZIP.
Windows blocked it, or your browser did?
LensCap is not code signed yet, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”, and some browsers make the installer awkward to download. Nothing is wrong with the file.
To install anyway: click More info, then Run anyway.
If the download vanished with no warning at all, Chrome blocked it
quietly. Open chrome://downloads, find LensCap in the list and
choose Keep. Or just take the
portable ZIP, which browsers
rarely stop, and run LensCap.exe from the folder.
Why it happens: to an automated scanner, a screen recorder looks a lot like spyware. It captures your screen, captures audio, listens for a hotkey and updates itself. A signing certificate is what attaches a publisher to the file for those checks to trust, and that is on the list.
